We’re a diesel repair shop in the DFW area, and we wanted to take a minute on this brand-new website to introduce ourselves. The name on the sign hasn’t changed, but a lot has.
New ownership, same garage you know
In August 2025, Cory took over Diesel Pros TX. He bought a shop with a solid reputation, a loyal customer base, and a crew of mechanics who already knew this place inside and out. His job from day one wasn’t to flip it upside down. It was to back the team up, sharpen the focus, and build on what was already working.
Cory is a blue-collar guy, plain and simple. He’s not interested in corporate slogans or fancy talk. He’s interested in fixing trucks, happy customers, and a shop where the work gets done right the first time. If you’ve stopped by since the takeover, you’ve probably noticed the energy. Calmer. More dialed in. A little louder when something funny happens in the bay.
That’s on purpose.
A crew that’s been here for years
The thing we’re proudest of? Our team includes technicians ranging from newly hired talent to seasoned professionals who have been with us for up to 16 years, led by a manager with 18 years experience at Diesel Pros. That’s not common in this industry. Guys with that kind of tenure know every quirk of every engine, every shortcut that isn’t worth taking, and every reason a customer’s day depends on getting their truck back.
When you bring your diesel to us, you’re not getting a rotating cast of techs trying to figure your truck out from scratch. You’re getting people who’ve seen it before and know what it takes to fix it right.
We’ve also added a few new faces over the past year, hand-picked to match the standard the long-timers set. New shirts are coming. New signs are going up out front. Same crew, sharper look.
Why a specialty diesel shop matters
Diesels aren’t gas trucks with a different fuel. The fuel systems, turbos, emissions hardware and transmissions all play by their own rules. A general mechanic can take a swing at a diesel, but a specialty shop will diagnose it faster, fix it right the first time, and stop the same problem from coming back next month.
For commercial owners (guys hauling, towing, running service routes, working construction), that difference isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s the difference between a one-day repair and a week of lost income.
